History
Don and Dolores Dissman launched Schlotzsky’s in Austin, Texas, in 1971 as a family business. The firm was eventually purchased by real estate speculators Gary Bradley, John Wooley, and Jeff Wooley in 1981. There are now 350 locations in operation across the world, both company-owned and franchised. The majority of the restaurants are located in the United States, although they are continuing to grow.
