  • However, make sure to obtain all natural peanut butter that is made with only two ingredients: peanuts and water. roasted peanuts and sea salt To make the flavor of the almond butter filling more complex, combine it with the peanut butter filling. Elvis Presley’s Favorite Peanut Butter Sandwich Recipe

Celebrate Elvis Presley’s birthday on January 8th with a peanut butter sandwich, which was one of his favorite foods. This recipe was adapted from The Peanut ButterCo. Cookbook.

  • 2-slices white bread
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (Peanut ButterCo. Smooth Operator or Crunch Time, for example)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (optional). 1/2largeripebanana, cut lengthwise into four thin pieces
  • 4sliced bacon, cooked
  • 2tablespoonshoney
  • 1/2largeripebanana, sliced lengthwise into four thin pieces
  1. Preheat a grill pan or griddle over medium heat until hot but not smoking. Each piece of bread should have a thin layer of butter spread on one side. Using the other side of each slice of bread, spread peanut butter on it. Place banana slices on top of the peanut butter to make a sandwich. Bacon pieces are placed on top, and honey is drizzled over the top. Place the remaining slice of bread, buttered side up, on top of the sandwich. Place sandwich on grill pan and cook until golden brown. Cook for about 3 minutes per side, or until the chicken is golden brown and crispy. Cut in half and serve immediately after transferring to a cutting board.

This time of year brings return to school, which means lots of peanut butter sandwiches in our family! Did you know that peanut butter and jelly sandwiches freeze very well? I’ll frequently prepare enough for a week’s worth of meals and store them in the freezer. Tip 1: Switch up your Bread

Sometimes the simplest suggestion may make the largest difference! Try experimenting with several types of sandwich bread. Some suggestions are cinnamon raisin bread, cheddar bread, Hawaiian Sweet rolls, bagels, tortillas, and flat bread. I purchased this blueberry bread from my local Kroger bakery and it was very delicious! Using a fascinating new loaf of bread, it’s simple to put up a tasty peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Tip 2: Switch up the Shape

This is the absolute favorite thing about my first-grader. Instead of a traditional peanut butter and jelly sandwich, consider making PB J Rolls instead. His little rolling pin rapidly flattens out the crusts of soft white bread that I had sliced off with a sharp paring knife. Spread a small coating of peanut butter and jelly on each roll, and then roll them up! When he slices them, he makes them seem like miniature cinnamon buns, which is quite entertaining!

With a coating of creamy peanut butter and a sprinkling of cinnamon, the classic banana and honey sandwich is elevated to a new level of deliciousness. You may also use crunch ingredients like as coconut flakes, granola, or chia seeds into your recipe. Consider trying the classic bacon-peanut butter combination, or Elvis’s famed peanut butter, bacon, and banana combination if you’re feeling very daring.
